Counting, measuring, analyzing
Generating quantitative data from microscopy images is a common research requirement. MSL is pleased to offer modern computer based methods and experience to assist researchers with quantitative data.
Resources
All of MSL's microscopes are equipped with digital image capture systems capable of creating analyzable images. Calibration standards are available. The Laboratory has separate computer systems for carrying out morphometric studies in the laboratory utilizing both free and commercial software. Laboratory staff can assist a client in establishing a measurement protocol that can be carried out in the client's own laboratory.
