The 2012 meeting, hosted by the Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill CFARs, will focus on the social and structural research approaches to implementing new advances in HIV prevention and treatment. Panels will cover important issues such as moving from efficacy to effectiveness of biomedical advances, implementation science, drug use and sex work, community collaborative research, and the role of incarceration in the HIV epidemic.
