Research

My research interest is in studying cell signaling mechanisms within the context of the nervous system. Some of the major questions I would like to address are how and why a cell in the nervous system responds to an outside stimulus in a specific manner. Further, how can the knowledge of this cellular activity provide insight into solving various nervous system-related diseases?
