I graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Biology. As an undergraduate, I followed my interests in neuroscience and conducted a clinical fMRI research study for my thesis studying the effects of nicotine on emotional memory. I continued to pursue my interests working as a lab technician researching the molecular effects of nicotine on the adolescent brain.

I joined the lab of Dr. Serena Dudek in May 2013. I am interested in studying synaptic transmission dynamics in the hippocampus in order to understand how these dynamics associate with neurodevelopmental disorders on a circuit level.
