I graduated from Allegheny College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
The goal of my current research is to identify the physiological basis of the negativesymptoms of schizophrenia as well as identify physiologically relevant subtypes of schizophrenia. I intend to use computational data mining and clustering techniques in order to identify potential subgroups of individuals with schizophrenia based on clinical symptom and neurocognitive task performance. Using these candidate subgroups, I intend to explore the underlying physiology using functional MRI imaging. My background in computer science has equipped him with the tools necessary to devise and implement the computational techniques needed in order to complete these analyses.
