One of the biggest fears for an older adult is being taken out of his or her home because it is no longer safe for them to live there alone. The family is only looking out for the best interest of the loved one, but it is still a very difficult situation. But what if there were some small adjustments that could be made around the house that would improve their level of safety and possibly keep them living there a little longer? Believe it or not, there are many minor details that, when tweaked appropriately, can produce great benefit for everyone.
