The Neuroradiology Section offers a wide array of diagnostic tests and interventions. We perform all routine MR and CT imaging studies, including MR spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging, perfusion studies and functional cortical activation studies. Most of these procedures are easily scheduled and may be performed on an outpatient basis.

A neuroradiologist is on call 24 hours, seven days a week. Interventional procedures include treatment of aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, embolization of tumors, treatment of acute stroke, treatment of arterial stenoses in the neck and brain, and vertebroplasties and kyphoplasties (for more information contact Dr. Solander).
