I am a second year Neurobiology student in the Kash Lab. After receiving my BSc in Psychology and Statistics at JMU, and my MA in Psychology from UNCW, I worked as an Intramural Research Training Award Fellow in the Laboratory for Integrative Neuroscience at NIAAA/NIH. In my free time, I enjoy cycling and yoga.
My research interests include identifying the neurocircuitry underlying alcohol use, stress, and stress resiliency, utilizing slice electrophysiology, behavioral, and optogenetic approaches.
