Dr. Bruchas is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Basic Research, and Anatomy and Neurobiology at Washington University in St. Louis. His research is interested in discovering how GPCR receptor systems function in the context of stress-induced anxiety, depression, pain, and addiction. I’ve adopted a multidisciplinary approach to study the pharmacological, biochemical, physiological, and neurobiological basis of stress. Dr. Bruchas host will be Dr. Tom Kash.
The title of his seminar will be:
"Dissecting GPCR function in Stress Neural Circuits and Affective Behaviors"
