Dr. Solecki is an Assistant Member of the St. Jude Faculty in the Developmental Neurobiology department. His research interests include: molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating neuronal motility, the interplay between neuronal differentiation and neuronal polarity signaling, and the centrosome as a focal point to coordinate cellular polarity, among other areas. Dr. Solecki will be hosted by the Graduate Student Committee.
The title of his seminar will be:
"Sticky Situations: Recent Advances in Control of Cell Polarity and Adhesion During the Initiation of Neuronal Migration"
