Dr. Turrigiano is a Professor of Biology at Brandeis University. Her lab is interested in the plasticity of the synaptic and intrinsic properties of cortical neurons and circuit as well as experience-dependent refinement of cortical microcircuits. Dr. Turrigiano will be hosted by the Graduate Student Committee.
The title of her seminar will be:
"The Self-Tuning Neuron: Synaptic Scaling in Neocortical Networks"
