Dr. Peifer is a Michael Hooker Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. Peifer Lab concentrates on ß-catenin, exploring its dual roles in cell adhesion and Wnt signaling.  Dr. Peifer is affiliated with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology, and Curriculum in Neurobiology.
