Biography

I graduated with a BS degree in Biochemistry at Nankai University (Tianjin, China) in 1999. I completed my dissertation research in the laboratory of Dr. Gary Bassell and received a Ph.D degree in Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology at Emory University in 2010. Prior to joining the Snider lab, I worked on the function of posttranscriptional regulation of gene expression in neuronal development and its implication in neurological disorders.

Research

In the Snider lab at UNC, my research focuses on the function of MEK/ERK signaling in neuronal development and plasticity.
