Biography

In 2008, I graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Biotechnology. In 2013, I received my PhD in Pharmacology from University of Iowa. In Dr. D.P. Mohapatra’s lab, I studied the modulation of various ion channels under inflammatory conditions. I moved to UNC-Chapel Hill last November and started working in Dr. Mark Zylka’s lab studying the role of lipid kinases in regulating pain signaling and sensitization. I love watching and playing soccer and follow Chelsea FC religiously.
