Biography

I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2008, thus receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree.

Research

As a graduate student in Dr. John Gilmore’s lab, I plan to focus my research efforts on analyzing the neural growth patterns of the human brain during prenatal and postnatal development. I will use structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and resting state functional imaging (fMRI) to investigate a wide range of questions about the maturational networks and neural circuits that exist in typically- and atypically-developing children before and after birth.
