Tenure Track Faculty Positions

The UNC Neuroscience Center and the Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill will be jointly recruiting outstanding PhD or MD scientists in the area of neurodegenerative diseases for appointments on the tenure track.  Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the potential to establish an independent, creative research program directed at neurodegenerative disease. Neuroscience and Neurology are undergoing rapid expansion on the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine campus. Laboratories are housed in an eight floor Neuroscience Research Building. Resources associated with the Neuroscience Center include Cores for functional genomics, in situ hybridization, multi-photon and confocal imaging, vector construction, embryonic stem cells and access to a state of the art mouse injection facility. All of these Core facilities are housed in the same building.

The successful candidates would join a highly interactive group of faculty in the Neuroscience Center and the Dept. of Neurology. Research Assistant/Technician Positions

Research Assistant/ Research Technician positions are available in several UNCNC labs. Preference will be given to candidates with a BS or Master's degree and experience in molecular biology.
