12th Annual UNC Neuroscience Symposium

The 12th Annual UNC Neuroscience Symposium was held on Thursday, October 13, 2011.  The event was at the Carolina Club on UNC Campus.

Dr. Elizabeth Phelps is giving her talk about "Changing Fear" to the large number of scientitsts in attendance.  There were 275 scientists from throughout North Carolina.

Here is Dr. Terry Magnuson presenting Dr. Cori Bargmann with the Perl / UNC Neuroscience Prize followed by Dr. Bargmann's talk about "Flexibility and Evolvability in Social Behavior".

Dr. Stephen Smith is presenting about "Toward Mapping Memory and Mind: The Synaptome meets the Connectome".  And Dr. Edward Callaway is talking about "Rabies-based Tools for Elucidating Neural Circiuits and Linking Connectivity to Function".
