Neurosurgery Serves Dinner to SECU Residents

December 22, 2011 -- Several representatives of the Neurosurgery Department provided a lasagna dinner with all of the fixings to the residents of the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals on Wed., December 21st.

Volunteers included Shama Turrentine, Sally Seagroves, Dr. Deanna Sasaki-Adams, Amber Wilson, Dr. Tiffany Perry and her daughter, Victoria.  In addition to serving the forty-or-so guests, the group enjoyed a time of fun and fellowship. According to one, "It was more rewarding than work!"

The SECU Family House is an extended lodging facility that provides hospitality, hope, and support to families of an adult patient being treated for a critical illness or injury at UNC Hospitals or its affiliated clinics.
