UNC Baseball and Pediatric Neurosurgery Get Help from Pint-Sized CatcherMarch 29, 2011 -- Ten-year-old Zion Kinlaw made a big contribution in UNC's 3/26 win over Duke.
Not only did he catch the first pitch to open the game, he contributed a check for $10,000 to his pediatric neurosurgeon, Victor Perry, MD. The donation to UNC's Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery, was the result of a fund-raising effort, Blue on the Brain, created by Zion and his family following brain surgery last fall.
