Dr. Jaufmann received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the State University of New York in Albany. He then earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College of New York. He performed his internship in general surgery as well as his residency in neurological surgery at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
Dr. Jaufmann served in the United States Air Force and was Chief of Neurosurgery at USAF Medical Center in Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. Dr. Jaufmann is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
