Continuing Education for Health Professionals
The Nutrition in Medicine project can provide free access to the NIM material only for medical students. We realize that the NIM materials can also be very helpful for health professionals who want to update their nutrition knowledge. However, with our limited funding we cannot support continuing education efforts directly. In order to make the materials more broadly available, the University of North Carolina has entered into an agreement with an information and publishing company, PogoHealth, to distribute the NIM modules to postgraduate health professionals. Completion of NIM modules and passing of an online exam can earn continuing education credit by arrangement with professional organizations.
