System Requirements

The CD-ROM disks for the Nutrition in Medicine® series operate on PC system computers. The minimum operating requirements are listed below:

PC

  • Pentium CPU / 200 megahertz processor or faster
  • 32 MB of RAM
  • Windows 95/98/NT 4 operating system or later
  • Quad speed CD ROM drive
  • Sound card
  • QuickTime 3.0 or higher
  • 640 x 480 minimum resolution, capable of running thousands of colors (16 bit)

Important Upgrade Information: Out with the OLD, in with the NEW!

As modules are revised and released, you MUST uninstall the previous version's files from your hard drive. These files were installed in the initial installation process; if you do not remove these files, you will NOT truly be updating to the new version and you may encounter some technical problems as well. The portion of the program that was installed to your hard drive should be in a folder with the same title as the module you wish to uninstall (e.g. Nutritional Anemias). Remember, ALWAYS UNINSTALL OLD BEFORE VIEWING THESE NEWLY UPDATED MODULES!

*For PC users: to uninstall Nutrition in Medicine software, go to Start in the control panel, up to Programs, to the module you would like to uninstall and select "Remove (Name of Module)" (e.g. "Remove Nutritional Anemias").
