Exciting News! Nutrition in Medicine is moving to the web! This has been our number one request from users, and our own team as well. However, designing and implementing a system that delivers these tools, including video and audio, in a high quality format is critical and has required careful planning and strategizing. For the first time, students are able to access courses without having to have a CD-ROM. Obviously these developments will greatly facilitate access and reduce barriers to deliver quality nutrition education to physicians-in-training. At this time, we plan to continue to have the CD-ROM format available for those topics that are not yet available online.   Important Upgrade Information: Out with the OLD, in with the NEW! If you have an updated CD of an older title, you MUST uninstall the previous version's files from your hard drive. The old files were installed in the initial installation process; if you do not remove these files, you will NOT truly be updating to the new CD version and you may encounter some technical problems as well. The portion of the program that was installed to your hard drive should be in a folder with the same title as the module you wish to uninstall (e.g. Nutritional Anemias). Remember, ALWAYS UNINSTALL OLD BEFORE VIEWING NEW, UPDATED CD MODULES! *For PC users: to uninstall Nutrition in Medicine software, go to Start in the control panel, up to Programs, to the module you would like to uninstall and select "Remove (Name of Module)" (e.g. "Remove Nutritional Anemias").
