Lectures and Conference Events by Site - Here you will find information about activities and lectures, such as grand rounds, M&M, etc., that are specific to each AHEC site.

Case Based Seminar Series - Here you will find a compilation of all Case Based Seminar Series powerpoints, clinical vignettes and associated suggested readings.  These materials comprise the core curriculum of this clerkship, and this is the same across all clerkship sites.

Complementary and Alternative Medicine Module - This module is a requirement for completion of the clerkship.  Please review the powerpoint and answer the accompanying questions.  You can attempt the quiz multiple times and only your highest score will be recorded.  You can view your grade on the Sakai website under Gradebook.  A passing grade is a 5.0 or higher.  This is how you can confirm that you have completed this requirement.

Didactic Core: Case Based Seminar Series

The Case Based Seminar Series is designed for either self-study or preceptor-guided discussion. These topics cover 24 of the APGO Educational Topic Areas outlined for the clerkship. Please refer to your objectives booklet and view the associated Educational Topic Areas associated with the topic. Each topic is associated with a powerpoint to review general principles and a clinical vignette to emphasize key points in diagnosis and management. Also, included are associated readings. Please prepare in advance for any scheduled didactics using the materials below.
