Mitch Dizon attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and received his B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 2006 and his M.D. in 2010. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, TN, in 2014. Mitch came to UNC in July 2014 for the Training in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials (TECT) Fellowship, during which he completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and provided general obstetrics & gynecology services through the Division of Women's Primary Healthcare. He began his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at UNC in July 2016.
