Overview of Fertility Preservation at UNC
UNC's Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility clinic is a nationally renowned program, providing a full range of evaluation and treatment options. For more information about our general infertility clinic, please see our website (www.UNCfertility.org). UNC's Fertility Preservation Program is designed to provide state-of-the-art options for reproductive-aged men or women who are about to begin treatments that may threaten their chance for future child-bearing. We are proud to be a preferred provider with Fertile Hope, a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reproductive information, support and financial support to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility. Through this association, we are providing Fertility Preservation treatments and medications at a discount for qualifying men and women. In addition. UNC's Fertility Preservation Program is one of a handful of academic centers around the country in the National Physician's Cooperative, which is a national, interdisciplinary initiative designed to explore the reproductive future of cancer survivors through basic science and translational research.
