UNC Midwives were identified as a "best practice" among medium-sized practices in the 2010 ACNM Benchmarking Project.
The purpose of the ACNM Benchmarking Project is to improve and maintain the quality of midwifery care provided to women and children by promoting member awareness of best practices. To facilitate this, members share data on nationally recognized quality metrics. Read more about the Project.
