Dr. Lisa Rahangdale elected to serve on Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology council

IDSOG council members serve three-year terms.

Dr. Lisa Rahangdale, associate professor in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology and senior medical director for UNC OB-GYN ambulatory services, has been elected to serve as a council member on the Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology (IDSOG) Council. She will serve a three-year term.

Dr. Rahangdale’s research interests include understanding how infectious diseases affect the reproductive health of women. IDSOG was created in 1973 to bring together professionals in the field of obstetrics and gynecology who are committed to scientific exchange, education and leadership in infectious diseases in women.
