Holiday Greetings from Dr. Daniel Clarke-Pearson

A holiday greeting from Dr. Daniel Clarke-Pearson.

Dear Faculty, Fellows, Residents and UNC OBGYN Staff,

In this last work week of 2017, I want to extend warm holiday greetings to all of you and wish you a safe and happy holiday season. Whether you are traveling or staying in town, I hope you are able to spend plenty of time with your loved ones and friends – and hopefully get some well-deserved rest yourselves!

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the holiday party. Celebrating together and sharing a meal away from the office is one of the best ways to make our day-to-day functions even more worthwhile. Thank you to the Holiday Party Committee for the planning and creativity they lend to this event each year – and thank you to those who were such good sports in providing our entertainment!

The University is closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day, though I know many of you will spend the holidays on-call or filling in for colleagues who need to be away. That is not only the nature of health care, but it is also the very nature of our department – we are there for each other.

The work we do at UNC OB-GYN makes a big impact on the women of our state, and on their families, too. Your commitment to that work is evident in the level of compassion and service you give to your jobs. It makes our department stronger, year by year. I look forward to the next year with you all!

Warm Regards,
Dan
