UNC Horizons Program celebrates staff, volunteers

UNC Horizons is a substance use disorder treatment program for pregnant and/or parenting women and their children, including those whose lives have been affected by abuse and violence.

At a family and friends event on March 14, 2018, the UNC Horizons Program honored members of the staff and volunteers with awards for their service.

Winning the Eva Eastwood Peer Support Ambassador Award is Wendy Isbell, a longtime peer support specialist at UNC Horizons.

Ashley Wilson, a member of the program's Advisory Circle, was awarded The John and Joe Carol Thorp Big Heart Award for the exemplary service she's given to the organization.
