Our January Lunch and Learn speakers will be Josh Sommers, Executive Director of the Chordoma Foundation and Michael Kelley, MD, Doctor of Oncology and PI of a chordoma research lab at Duke University. Josh was a freshman at Duke University when he was diagnosed with chordoma. Josh and Dr. Kelley will talk about their search for answers to this rare disease. Click here to register.

Lecture by Nobel Laureate Dr. Andrew Fire
Dr. Andrew Fire, Nobel laureate and Stanford University professor of Pathology and Genetics, will be speaking at Duke University in the Bryan Research Building auditorium (room 103). Best known for his ground-breaking work on RNA interference, the title of his talk will be “Sequence-based tracking of molecular recognition elements in RNA-based and classic immune surveillance”.
