Global Health Career Night-in-a-box

The Infectious Disease Interest Group, International Health Forum, and Global Health Sub-Committee of the American Medical Student Association at UNC School of Medicine are organizing an event called “Global Health Career Night-in-a-box.” The initiative is sponsored by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH). There will be a film provided by ASTMH called "Karl M. Johnson, MD: Life and Legend of a Leader in Tropical Virology".  After the film, we would like to have a panel of faculty to talk about how global health has played a role in their careers and to answer students’ questions.

The event will be held on April 6th in the FedEx Global Education Center on the 4th floor. We will be having a light dinner starting at 6:30pm, showing the film, and then starting the panel discussion around 7:45pm. Please feel free to come at any time during the evening!
