The Student Global Health Committee's Health and Human Rights Series Presents Health and Human Rights of Hired Farm Labor in North Carolina Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2009 UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health Jonathan Kirsch, MD is an internist and academic hospitalist at UNC. He is on the Board of Directors of "Doctors for Global Health" and also works with migrant farmworkers in Fuquay-Varina, NC. He worked for fours years providing medical care in migrant farmworker homes in Central New York State before coming to UNC. He has also spent 2 years doing health and human rights work in Chiapas, Mexico.
