Roundtable Discussion with Ken Wong Director of the Face to Face AIDS Project

Ken Wong is a professional photographer and the director of the Face-to-Face AIDS Project, an organization that uses photographs, videos, and interviews to document the AIDS pandemic in Africa and Southeast Asia. He has over 12 years of experience working on HIV-related issues and his photographic installations, the AIDS PhotoMosaics, have been exhibited at the United Nation headquarters, the Boston Museum of Science, and numerous universities such as Harvard, Yale, NYU School of Medicine, and Princeton. From April 6 to 8 the PhotoMosaics will be featured in UNC's Michael Hooker Research Center Atrium. Mr. Wong will be speaking as a documenter of the AIDS pandemic as well as an advocate for grassroots initiatives in Malawi and Cambodia. The roundtable discussion, co-hosted by the Office of Global Health and the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases, will be open to 20 students.
