Mathieu Forgues awarded Albert Schweitzer Fellowship

Mathieu Forgues was recently selected to be a 2013 Lambarene Fellow by the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship.  This competitive, nation-wide fellowship gives four third-year medical students the opportunity to spend three months working as Fellows at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambaréné, Gabon on clinical rotations.  Medical Fellows work as junior physicians in pediatrics or medicine rotations, supervised by hospital medical staff.  This is the second consecutive year for a UNC medical student to be selected, as Claudia Castillo was awarded this fellowship last year.

Please congratulate Mathieu when you have the opportunity!
