Two UNC students awarded ASTMH fellowships

William Garneau and Jamie Carter were recently awarded Benjamin H. Kean Traveling Fellowships in Tropical Medicine from The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.   This competitive fellowship is designed to support medical students, house staff and fellows involved in clinical or research electives in tropical areas.  Will and Jamie will use these funds to support their work in Malawi and Nicaragua, respectively.
