Win $500 for your art, help UNC's new Water Institute
No matter where you are, water affects – and is affected by – the way people live their lives. The Water Institute at UNC continues to serve as a cutting-edge, 21st century center that provides global academic leadership in water, health and development in North Carolina and worldwide. Use your creativity to capture water through the theme of Hygiene: practices that promote health and healthy living. Requirements
Awards include $500 for the winning piece, $250 for the runner up, and $50 apiece for honorable mentions. Winners will also receive formal recognition at the Water and Health Conference 2011, where the winning works will be exhibited. The competition will run until March 4, 2011 (and will be judged by the end of the semester). Prizes generously contributed by Dr. Stephen Morse.
