Global Competence workshop for UNC graduate students - March 23rd

For a Better World: Practicing Ethical Global Engagement, is an all-day workshop on Saturday, March 23rd from 9a-5p in 228 Rosenau Hall in the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Description: In this skills-building workshop based on Global Citizen’s Global Competence Framework, students will assess their current skills, deepen their knowledge and strengthen their ethical practices. Students will also enhance their global health networks and communities of practice and become better prepared for their global health careers.

Instructor: Katherine L. Turner, MPH is the Founder and President of Global Citizen, LLC consulting firm that improves international health and human relations by enhancing the capacity of students, professionals and agencies to work more effectively across cultures and countries. She is also UNC adjunct faculty and Senior Advisor, Health Systems at Ipas.
