How do I configure my email client to connect to Exchange?

Purpose

The University has recently migrated to Exchange as the primary Email Server for University Employees. The student body of the University is not affected by this change unless they are “Student Employees”. This document is written to cover the support for Exchange and Email clients for Employees. Since Exchange is a Microsoft Product the recommended Email and Calendar Client is Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access. There are other Third Party Email Clients that will connect to Exchange, but some of them have limitations and do not support all the features of Exchange (for more information on Exchange Features click here). The University will support the clients listed below but there will be some limitations to support due to limitations in the client.
