A core group of artists who are also grateful patients at UNC Eye decided to give back to the faculty and staff who have helped them by establishing the program "Art for UNC Eye."  This allows you the opportunity to not only own an original & beautiful piece of work from a local artist, but it helps support UNC Eye and its mission to provide the very best in Medical and Surgical Eye care.

How will the gifts from the participating artists be used?
Proceeds donated by the artists will be used to support priority needs of the clinical and research faculty at UNC Eye.

Will I receive a tax deduction for the purchase of this art?
No, the artist will receive a deduction when their gifts are sent after your purchase.  You will be taking home a valuable piece of art to enjoy!

Are these the only pieces of art I have to choose from?
No, these are only a sample of the pieces that you have to choose from.  All of the artists have agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from any piece of art bought through this program.  Make sure to go to each artist's individual website to look at all of their pieces that they currently have available.
