Practice Philosophy:

For parents:

I believe that a child’s ocular health depends on my establishing a good relationship with both the family and the patient. Here at UNC, a team centered philosophy is also essential to success in treating ocular disease. I believe in open communication and discussion with everyone involved. Keeping your child’s eyes healthy is my priority. Finally, eye care should be fun, and your child should enjoy the experience!

For adult patients:

Because I have an interest in strabismus management for children and adults, adults are also welcome to my practice if they are experiencing double vision, eye crossing, or eye wandering. A careful examination and thoughtful discussion will precede any treatment decisions. I believe that each individual has differing needs, and patient satisfaction is my goal.
