Chapel Hill, home to the University
of North Carolina and the University of
North Carolina Hospitals, is a wonderful community in which to live and work.
It has the charm of a small town with many of the advantages of a larger city.
The Greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle encompasses six counties and is
home to over one million people. The climate is temperate with four distinct seasons.
Chapel Hill is located approximately 2 1/2 hours from the beach and 3 hours from
the mountains. Recreational opportunities abound, including hiking, cycling, college
sports, museums and art galleries, and unique restaurants. For those who reside
here, it is no surprise that Chapel Hill is often referred to as "The Southern
Part of Heaven."
