Donors and Friends of the Department of Orthopaedics at the UNC School of Medicine:

Gifts to the department help us support our trifold mission to provide premier musculoskeletal healthcare, education and research to the citizens of North Carolina. Establishing strong research and residency programs is at the crux of this mission.

The Department of Orthopaedics is grateful to our alumni, faculty, residents, patients, and corporate sponsorship for their generous contributions over the years. These funds are used for many purposes, including resident travel to educational meetings, research, and support of the Raney Library and Brashear Learning Center. Most recently, we are proud of receiving enough pledges to establish the H. Robert Brashear Teaching Professorship, an endowment for faculty who are dedicated to teaching residents and medical students.

Any gift to support the efforts in the Department of Orthopaedics is greatly appreciated. Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

How to make a gift:
Through the Medical Foundation of North Carolina, you may donate in a variety of ways; please choose the option that is most convenient for you, then scroll down to "Department of Orthopaedics." You may specify that your gift should go to one of the following funds in the "Comments" section at the bottom of the page:

• Frank C. Wilson Resident Loan Fund
• H. Robert Brashear Orthopaedic Basic Science Teaching Fund
