Confidence and satisfaction best describe my experience with UNC Orthopaedics.  Prior to retiring as a cardiologist, I developed a sense of what is needed and expected in delivering excellent medical care.  Recently, both my son and I needed orthopedic care and we chose UNC Orthopaedics. Initially, we made an appointment for my son, a 15 year old athlete, who suffered from a back injury.  His evaluation and treatment by the team at UNC was superb.  Dr. Moe Lim, the spine surgeon who treated him, was superior as a communicator, evaluator, and prescriber.  The entire orthopaedic team--the appointment personnel, nurses, and imaging technicians--was kind and helpful.  As result of a minor ankle injury, I used the walk-in Prompt Care service at UNC Orthopaedics on a Saturday.  Prompt describes the attention I received; unlike an Emergency Department, there was no long wait.  I literally parked at the front door and hobbled into the clinic.  The UNC Orthopaedics team is outstanding with their combination of convenience and commitment to excellence.  I highly recommend UNC Orthopaedics.
