We are excited to have you with us and look forward to a rich learning experience for all involved. You will be training at one of the following four sites: NC Children's Hospital at UNC Chapel Hill, Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, WakeMed in Raleigh, or Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The varied activities of this rotation have been designed to allow you to meet these learning objectives of the clerkship in a meaningful and enjoyable way. We, as a faculty, are committed to helping you reach these goals to the best of our ability. To be successful, however, students must organize their time to provide an appropriate balance between clinical activities and independent learning through reading and study. Other essentials are a cooperative, enthusiastic and compassionate attitude; responsibility; a demonstrated interest in patient care; intellectual motivation; and a systematic, organized approach to clinical problems.
