Outpatient Pediatrics Section

This section within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine provides outpatient care for children in a variety of settings.

GPAM currently has numerous outpatient clinics ranging from primary care to specialty care.

Franklin Street Primary Care Clinic: This resident-training clinic provides high quality primary care to children while also training the next generation of pediatricians.

UNC Faculty Practice, Panther Creek Pediatrics: Opening September 2016, this clinic will provide primary care in a community setting. It will combine the operational expertise of the UNC Physician Network Practices with faculty physician providers.

Diagnostic and Complex Care Clinic: This set of clinics located on campus in the Children's Hospital and also at the Raleigh Specialty Clinic on the campus of Rex Hospital, this clinic sees referred and medically complex children. This faculty clinic accepts referrals for second-opinions, management of complex illness. In addition we help children and families transition from the hospital back to home, do circumcisions, preoperative evaluations, and numerous other types of visits.

Siler City location of Piedmont Health Services: UNC Pediatrics faculty work at this federally-qualified community health center in a partnership with PHS.  We provide pediatrics primary care at this location.
