Dr. Ravi Jhaveri, associate professor of pediatrics, has more than 15 years experience practicing in pediatric infectious diseases.

Dr. Jhaveri has been with UNC Children's since 2012. He cares for children with all kinds of infections but has a special interest in children with viral hepatitis. His research interests include: infants and children with Hepatitis B and C, management of fever illnesses in young infants, and improving outcomes for children with infectious diseases. 

Dr. Jhaveri has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society.

Dr. Jhaveri's favorite kids' movies are The Incredibles, Cars, and Mary Poppins. His favorite kid’s books are Harry Potter and Magic Tree House.
