Castle Connolly Names 'Top Regional Doctors'

June 17, 2011 - Thirty UNC Health Care physicians, including eight from the Department of Surgery, have been recognized as "top regional doctors" by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

William Adamson, MD was named amongst other surgeons by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. to be
in the top ten percent top docsof physicians within their specialty in the southeast region.  The criteria used in the selection of this peer-nominated distinction includes professional qualifications, education, fellowships, professional reputation, and experience.
