Pharmacology Ranks #1 in NIH Extramural Funding!

Each year the NIH ranks medical school departments for their extramural funding. The Department of Pharmacology at UNC-Chapel Hill ranked #1 of 100 pharmacology departments in the United States for fiscal year 2005; the latest year available for rankings.

The #1 ranking is a direct result of our outstanding students, fellows, support staff and faculty in the department. UNC-Pharmacology is a great place to do science!
