Angela Lipscomb-Hudson, MD, a physiatrist who is the UNC Stroke Rehabilitation Medical Director, gave an "enthralling" presentation on Rehabilitation for Stroke to the Sanford-Lee County Stroke Support Group, according to Joy Phillips Murphy, group organizer and peer mentor at UNC Health Care's Center for Rehabilitation Care.

The talk took place at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation on September 12, 2013, with about 30 people in attendance including some of Dr. Hudson's patients. They learned about stroke recovery, the latest in stroke rehabilitation, the field of physiatry, and new resources at our Center for Rehabilitation Care of Chapel Hill.  Dr. Hudson's husband, Ron Hudson, took wonderful photos showing the caring nature of the group.
